Blue Reef Aquarium

The Blue Reef Aquarium is situated in the centre of Newquay town and offers visitors the opportunity to see sharks, seahorses, clown fishes, crabs and lobsters in addition to their giant tropical ocean display.

Carnewas & Bedruthan Steps

Dramatic coastline with views over massive rock stacks. This is one of the most popular destinations on the Cornish coast, because of the spectacular cliff top view of rocks stretching into the distance across the sweep of Bedruthan beach.

Close to the car park there is a National Trust shop and information Centre in addition to a tea-room and garden.

Cornish Cyder Farm

Located in the heart of the Cornish countryside amongst 16 acres of apple orchards lies the Cornish Cyder Farm.

The entrance is free and the farm is open all year round. Here you can taste locally produced cider, wine and jams in addition to get a guided tour of the museum to see how the products are produced.

The farm has a shop were you can buy their products, an ideal gift to bring home.

Eden Project

The mission statement of the project is "To promote the understanding and responsible management of the vital relationship between plants, people and resources leading to a sustainable future for all".

The Eden project takes you through the world, from tropical rainforest to the Mediterranean. In addition to a massive amount of plants you will also see various sculptures, performance shows, restaurant and snack point and a well-equipped gift shop.

Landhydrock House

Magnificent late Victorian country house with extensive servants’ quarters, garden and wooden estate. One of the most fascinating and complete late 19th Century houses in England. The garden has a spectacular collection of magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias and offers fine colours right through autumn.

All this is set in a glorious estate of woods and parkland running down to the River Fowey, with an extensive network of footpaths.

Lostwithiel

Lostwithiel is known for having the loveliest inland scenery in Cornwall. The beautiful settings of the village make it a lovely day out. The village is great for those interested in antiques, but also offers good handy craft shops, such as ceramics and patchworks.

In the village you find Lostwithiel museum, situated in the old corn exchange building. In the museum you will find artefacts and pictures showing how life has been in the village during the last two centuries. Just one mile outside of the village you can find Restormel castle, and from there the view of the village is magnificent.

Padstow

Padstow is situated in North Cornwall. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with wonderful bays and beautiful golden beaches. The town itself has a colourful and ancient history. Old crooked streets slope down to the harbour where many fine medieval buildings can still be seen.
